Preparing to Strike

I celebrate the end of the Fall '10 by finishing this. I started it sometime after I finished Playing Pretend [link] but never got around to completing it because the end of the quarter and all of its glory caught up to me. I was also pretty tired most of the time.

Anyways, I was thinking of making the figure, not necessarily the background (but it's a possibility), a manga cover for Triune. This is Athalia, mid sister of the big three. There was this while over I think last summer (2009) that I was giving this middle child a lot of attention in my sketchbook.

I tried messing a little with the background and this is the one I'm going to settle on for now. I have another version that's a little lighter. I'll eventually put the three versions up for comparison. Also, if someone has a better idea or maybe a better thought for the color lemme know!
